Microsoft is releasing its newest operating system, Windows 11, earlier than expected by computer users. Some of the changes that were announced in June include visual improvements and the integration of Microsoft Teams.
What constitutes a greater innovation is the 'START' menu, centered on the taskbar. The menu opens a window with fixed 'recommended' apps and leaves room for the search space.
Microsoft Teams (MSFT) will be integrated directly into the new software and will have its own icon on the taskbar. Also, there will be improvements for online gaming enthusiasts because the new operating system brings an "Auto HDR" feature that will automatically improve the color and brightness of the screen, a technology introduced for the first time in Microsoft's XBOX consoles.
Windows 11 comes 6 years after Microsoft revised the older Windows 10 operating system, which today runs on approximately 1.3 billion devices worldwide.
According to Geoff Blaber, head of CCS Insight, the transition from Windows 10 to 11 is not a revolutionary step, but there are changes that will make the user's work easier and affect the greater scope of Office 365 applications.
Starting on October 5, the company will begin a free upgrade approach where new devices will be prioritized over older ones./tvklan.al
