The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, expressed his shock at the murders of two PDK politicians in the city of Peja.
PDK's candidate for Peja Astrit Ademaj and former candidate from the same party for mayor of Deçan, Blerand Kadriaj, were killed after gunshots.
Albin Kurti expressed his condolences to the families of the victims while inviting the law enforcement agencies to investigate the double murder.

Tonight we were shocked by the serious event that happened in the city of Peja. According to the official confirmation of the Kosovo Police, two citizens of our country were killed at the scene of the incident, the candidate for mayor of Peja municipality, AA, and the former candidate for mayor of Deçan, BK, both from the ranks of the Democratic Party of Kosovo.
I express my sincere condolences to the families of the victims, friends and colleagues from the Democratic Party of Kosovo. In these difficult moments, we sympathize with their pain for this tragic loss.
I invite the law enforcement agencies to solve the case of this double murder with the highest seriousness as soon as possible.
