A car designed to "strip" the air of pollution as it moves has been exhibited at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Created by British designer Thomas Heatherwick, it is hoped that the 'Airo' will be produced in China in 2023, with plans to produce millions of them.
The design aims to address not only the problem of pollution, but also to help solve the "space crisis".
Skeptics are convinced that it can be nothing more than a concept car.

The car, which was first shown at the Shanghai Motor Show in April, has a large glass roof while the interior is designed to look like a room, with movable chairs that can be converted into beds and a table. central to be in function of meetings or meals.
This machine aims to collect as much pollution as a tennis ball per year. It may not seem like much, but think of it as a tennis ball inside your lungs! Moreover, there will be not just 1, but thousands of such cars in China alone that will help filter the air.
Skeptics on the other hand are still not convinced about the functionality or productivity of this machine, as the amount of pollution the machine is supposed to collect is an almost negligible amount.

The second main idea behind the design of this car is space. Considering the space we had to have due to Covid this new normality became for us a need for distance.
The inspiration for this kind of space in a car comes from first class seats on airplanes, which give you the ability to do anything.
The car is thought to cost around 40,000 Pounds, which is seen as a reasonable price.
