After the American withdrawal from Afghanistan, ending the 20-year war, the Taliban say they have won independence. The last American plane left Kabul on August 30 and was met with gunfire from the Taliban.
But frightening images come from Afghanistan, where a video published on social media shows a man hanging from an American Black Hawk helicopter controlled by the Taliban. It is not known if this person is dead or alive.
The Talib Times, a site believed to be the official English-language account of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and controlled by the Taliban, wrote: "Helicopters of the Islamic Emirate air force are flying over Kandahar and patrolling the city."
Some foreign journalists claim that the person hanging in the helicopter is dead and is believed to have worked as a translator for the United States of America. However, nothing is confirmed.
"Another historic photograph that is leading the world into a new era of terror. The Taliban hang a man believed to be an American interpreter from an American Black Hawk helicopter. The remaining US helicopters will now be used in Afghanistan as in this case", the host of an Indian television, Sudhir Chaudhary, wrote on Twitter.
The US has left at least 73 aircraft in Afghanistan, which it has removed weapons from. /tvklan.al
