Biden: The pandemic now belongs to the unvaccinated
Vaccination or weekly tampons must be done by employees of large firms in the United States. This measure is part of the new package presented by US President Joe Biden, to control the spread of the coronavirus in the country.
Speaking from the White House, Biden said that firms with more than 100 employees will be offered financial assistance for each of them who must take time off work to be vaccinated.
"This is the pandemic of the unvaccinated. My message to them is: What are you waiting for? We made the vaccine safe, vaccination free. The FDA granted full approval. Over 200 million Americans have received one of the doses. We have been patient until now, but patience has a limit."
The measures come as the Delta variant has again increased the numbers of the pandemic with the new wave of spread of the coronavirus that it has fed.
Hospitals are close to exhausting their capacities, while the number of hospitalized patients on a national scale is close to 100, a limit broken only during the massive wave of spread during the December-January wave of last year.
This week, the infections affected more than 150 thousand again, while the deaths have also increased, as most of the affected are unvaccinated.
In addition to the United States, infections and victims also have an increasing trend in Great Britain, Germany and Israel.
