Two people have been killed in a Ukrainian drone attack on a cargo ship in the port of Rostov, Russia. The victims are two crew members, while three others were injured.
The news was announced by the regional governor, Yuri Slyusar, who confirmed the incident in a post on Telegram. According to him, the attack also caused a fire on the ship, which was extinguished by emergency services.
Meanwhile, in the city of Bataysk, seven people were injured as a result of drone strikes. One of the injured did not survive his injuries and died.
Local authorities are continuing investigations into the circumstances of the attack, while the security situation in the region remains tense.
