
The acting Minister of Health, Arben Vitia, has announced that the Prizren General Hospital is experiencing a radical transformation, thanks to major investments in modern equipment, advanced services and contemporary infrastructure.
Vitia emphasized that within this process, investments have been made and are being made in various medical fields, including invasive cardiology with new angiography, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), pulmonology and the new Sleep Apnea service, pediatrics, internist and intensive care, as well as emergency, radiology and the surgical block, reports Telegraph.
According to the minister, significant investments have also been made in hemodialysis, transfusion, pathology, modern diagnostic and therapeutic equipment, as well as in lighting and standardized external infrastructure.
"I thank our diaspora, our friends and health professionals for their contribution to this transformation. Prizren Hospital is now stronger and more functional, offering safer and more advanced services to citizens," Vitia wrote.
The total value of investments reaches over 11 million euros, marking an important step towards improving the quality of health services in the region. /Telegraph/
