This is the terrifying moment an Afghan news anchor reads the news while surrounded by armed Taliban thugs.
The video was shared online from the TV studio after militants stormed the building and asked the news anchor to praise the Taliban.
The presenter talks about the fall of the Ghani government and that according to the Islamic Emirate, the Afghan people should not be afraid of Afghanistan.
In the viral video, which has been viewed more than 1 million times, the news anchor is surrounded by eight armed men who appear to guard his head as he reads.
It was reported that they stormed the building on Sunday and demanded that the presenter speak to them. According to WIO News, the news anchor engaged in an argument with the militants during the broadcast.
The video was filmed as the US military said it had carried out a successful drone strike mission that prevented a second terrorist attack at Kabul airport.
Hours before the clip was shared, US President Joe Biden had warned that an attack on Kabul could be imminent before the drone strike destroyed explosives the US said were for use in a second attack.
Last week, an ISIS-K suicide bomber detonated a device outside the airport, leaving 13 American troops and at least 170 dead. /tvklan.al
