The water in the fountain outside Buckingham Palace has turned red this afternoon during protests over the climate crisis. "Animal Rebellion" protesters were arrested after vandalizing the water facility called "Victoria Memorial".
According to the activists, they wanted to draw attention to the "royal bloodbath".
"The Crown is Britain's largest landowner and uses this acreage for blood sports, farming and ranching that destroy the countryside and kill millions of animals every year. Using this land to kill animals and our planet is a royal bloodbath, and we're here to say that the more power you have, the more responsibility you carry to lead the way to a future that's right for you. all".
The protests to sensitize the authorities to the climate crisis have started since Sunday and so far more than 200 people have been arrested./tvklan.al
