Explosions and damage at Russian oil refineries and storage facilities

The Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to strike key Russian targets – both military and energy infrastructure.

During the night, Ukrainian forces struck the infrastructure of the Slavyansk Oil Refinery in Slavyansk-na-Kubani.


Explosions and fires were reported. The plant processes up to 5.2 million tons of oil per year and directly supports the Russian military. The extent of the damage is still being assessed.

The drones also damaged two high-voltage power transmission lines.

In addition, a strike on the Nikolayevskaya oil depot in Russia's Rostov region has been confirmed. A fuel tank and a vessel on the Kapitan Gibert River were also damaged.

In the occupied Luhansk region, a field artillery ammunition depot belonging to a military unit was destroyed.

Otherwise, the General Staff of Ukraine confirmed the effects of a strike on December 14 on the R. Graifer survey platform in the Caspian Sea.

The platform was damaged, all 14 wells were shut in. Estimated losses amount to approximately 3500 tons of gas per day. /Telegraph/
