NEWS IN UPDATE | At least 11 people have been killed in an explosion outside the Kabul airport in Afghanistan. Among the victims are women, children and some Taliban guards.
The injured were immediately sent to the local hospital, while others left the scene in handcarts, some of them with wounds wrapped around them with bandages made from clothing.
The explosion outside the airport was followed by a second explosion outside the Baron Hotel, which was used by Britain to check that Britons and Afghans were in order with evacuation paperwork. There are many injured from this explosion, but there are still no exact numbers.
British, American and other international troops have remained at the airport and are working to save as many lives as possible.tvklan.al
