The University Clinical Hospital Service of Kosovo (SHSKUK) announces that 272 patients are lying in hospitals and clinics where patients with coronavirus are treated, where 196 of them are positive with the disease COVID-19.
According to the daily report of SHSKUK, 194 patients are being treated with oxygen therapy, while nine are in serious health condition. As for the clinics of the University Clinical Center, the Infectious Disease Clinic has the largest number of patients receiving treatment, namely 72 patients, followed by the Pulmonology Clinic where 37 patients are being treated.
120 patients with coronavirus are being treated in general hospitals. The Gjakova hospital has the largest number of patients or 53 patients, followed by the Gjilan hospital with 29 patients. On Friday, August 13, Kosovo recorded 1.128 new cases of COVID-19. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 113.781 cases of coronavirus have been registered in Kosovo, of which 2.279 patients have died and 106.009 have recovered. There are 5.493 active cases.
