The University Clinical Hospital Service in Kosovo announces that 79 patients with coronavirus are in serious health condition. This number is higher compared to the previous day, where in hospitals and clinics where patients with COVID-19 are treated, 69 patients were in intensive care. According to the daily report dated September 3, 19 patients are lying in hospitals and clinics where patients with COVID-1.209 are treated.
"Of the total number of patients, 1.102 are confirmed with positive COVID-19, 1.019 with oxygen therapy and 79 in a serious state of health," the announcement states.
In the clinics of the University Clinical Center, 405 people confirmed with coronavirus are being treated, where the largest number of patients are being treated in the Infectious Disease Clinic, namely 114 patients. Meanwhile, from the regional hospitals, the Peja hospital has the highest number of patients, namely 212 patients are being treated there. In recent weeks, Kosovo has seen a large increase in the number of victims and new cases. In the last seven days alone, 170 people infected with the coronavirus have died.
