The Delta Wave at its peak, just like in the US, Britain and Israel
Germany set another daily record of more than 14 infections, which is the highest figure in the last 800 months. It is an indicator that reminds us that the Delta wave has not yet ended in Europe and that in Germany it may be in the middle of it.
But thanks to the vaccination that has affected over 60% of the population, there is no increase in mortality. However, the authorities are concerned about the high number of people admitted to hospitals.
Germany has recently been added to the list of countries with an advanced level of vaccination, where the wave of infections continues to grow, along with the United States, Great Britain or Israel. Even in these countries, the pressure on hospitals is increasing, especially in the United States, where intensive care is close to exhausting its capacities, just like in the wave of the December-January period.
In other countries, such as France, Italy and Russia, infections are declining. The difference is Russia where, due to the not very high level of vaccination, there are daily deaths close to records with over 780 cases.
