The leader of the Vetevendosje Movement (LVV), Albin Kurti, has presented the governing program for the next mandate as well as new commitments.
In his opening speech, Kurti said that the future government's plan will be focused on two main and decisive pillars: Security and Prosperity.
"Without prosperity there is no dignity, and without both there is no strong state," he said, while emphasizing as one of the most important achievements of our state in recent years, the extension of sovereignty in the country's territory. The increase in the defense budget has increased our defense capacity while increasing the security of our citizens and the credibility of our state. While promising that the defense budget in the coming mandate will be one billion euros, Prime Minister Kurti emphasized that the Kosovo Security Force will be stronger and better prepared than ever before," Kurti said.
Meanwhile, Kurti also promised greater security for the country through the construction of a factory for the production of ammunition and unmanned drones, the implementation of the national reserve program within the framework of the Comprehensive Protection Plan that includes every citizen, as well as investment in energy and agriculture.
"Producing energy with less pollution through gasification, ensuring drinking water through the construction of five new dams Kuqicë, Polatë, Dragac, Firaje and Decivoje worth 400 million euros, and increasing domestic production to 12 billion euros next year, were the commitments that guarantee the country security and economic development." /Telegraph/
