
A serious and shocking event occurred at Bondi Beach, one of Sydney's most popular beaches, where an armed attack left 16 people dead, including one of the two suspects.

A serious incident rocked Bondi Beach this weekend, when two men opened fire on the crowd at one of Sydney's most popular beaches.
Emergency services were called immediately after citizens reported gunshots in a public place.
According to New South Wales Police, officers from the Eastern Suburbs Police Command, other surrounding commands and special police responded and located the two attackers who were using long guns against the crowd.
An exchange of fire occurred between the police and the attackers, in which two officers – a constable and a probationary constable – were injured.
During the scuffle, one of the attackers, a 50-year-old man, was shot by police and died at the scene. His 24-year-old son was seriously injured and taken to hospital under police guard.
Police also announced that fifteen people lost their lives during the attack, while 41 others - including four children - were taken to various Sydney hospitals.
Currently, 20 patients continue to receive medical care. The victims who have passed away are still being identified, with ages ranging from 10 to 87 years old.
Of the two injured officers, the constable is in critical but stable condition, while the probationary constable is in stable condition. Police have announced that investigations into the full circumstances of the incident are ongoing. /Telegraph/
