A 36-year-old model has been mauled by a leopard during a photoshoot gone wrong at a zoo in eastern Germany.
The woman, described as a fashion model, suffered serious head injuries inside an enclosure that is home to two leopards, Troy and Paris.
Police said she was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The animals' living conditions, behavior and the safety of the site were checked by local veterinarians just this month, county authorities say.
The animal rights group responded to the attack by calling for the big cats to be kept only in recognized rescue centers where they could not be exploited for commercial gain.
