Kosovar midfielder Behar Neziri has suffered a serious injury, tearing ligaments in his right knee.
The St.Gallen star was injured in the match the Swiss team played against Sion on Tuesday evening.
Neziri started in this match and was injured a few minutes before the referee's final whistle.
Medical tests he underwent on Wednesday morning confirmed that Neziri has suffered a torn ligament.
The 22-year-old will now undergo surgery and will be out for several months.
