The European Union has REMOVE 6 countries from the list of safe countries against COVID-19.
Among these countries is the USA, which as it was warned, the EU would stop non-essential travel with America, as well as three countries of the Western Balkan region, Kosovo, North Macedonia and Montenegro.
With the end of the summer season, the region is seeing an increase in cases of COVID-19, which has forced the EU to consider them as unsafe countries.
Meanwhile, the EU has recommended on August 30 that member states lift travel restrictions for residents of third countries such as Albania.
The EU has officially removed the restrictions since June for Albania, but the member countries have acted differently based on their policies.
