In the wake of the meetings in the United States of America, the president of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has met with the undersecretary of state, Victoria Nuland, as well as with other officials of the American State Department.
About the meeting with Osmani, the undersecretary of state, Victoria Nuland, also wrote on Twitter, announcing that they also talked about the normalization of Kosovo-Serbia relations.
"I was pleased to welcome the President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, to discuss a wide range of shared priorities, including the rule of law, energy and the normalization of relations with Serbia. The United States thanks Kosovo for its early and generous support to temporarily host the displaced Afghans," writes Nuland.

During the visit to the USA, the president also met the director of USAID, Samantha Power.
"I was pleased to welcome the president of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, to discuss USAID's support for the people of Kosovo and how we can help advance women's empowerment and employment. When I thanked her for Kosovo's support of 2,000 Afghan refugees, she said, 'we welcome the opportunity to return the favor.'
Last night, President Osmani met the chief executive of the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), Mahmoud Bah, where the role of MCC in Kosovo and the needs of the energy sector were discussed.
