Another Palestinian baby has died in the Gaza Strip after exposure to extreme cold weather.
This was announced by the Gaza Ministry of Health, as a severe cold wave continues to claim lives amid poor living conditions.
In a statement, the ministry said that Saeed Asaad Abideen, a one-month-old baby, died as a result of the sharp drop in temperatures.
His death brought to 13 the number of people who have died after being hospitalized due to the recent cold wave and extreme weather conditions across Gaza.
On Wednesday, the Gaza Civil Defense warned that a severe cold wave threatens the lives of children.
Many Palestinian families lack adequate shelter and heating due to humanitarian conditions that are deteriorating due to the war. /AA
