
The Mayor of the Municipality of Pristina, Shpend Ahmeti, has announced that the Germia park is temporarily closed. Ahmeti said that they made this decision because of the avoidance of danger since a bear was observed in this park.
He asked the citizens to respect the decision not to fertilize this park.
"Gërmia Park is temporarily closed
Dear citizens, we have decided to close the Grmija Park, in order to avoid potential danger.
As you have been informed, today during the afternoon hours we received an information from the Kosovo Police that a Bear was observed.
The bear is not part of the 'Bear Park'. In order to avoid any danger, Germija Park will be closed to citizens, until further notice. We appeal to respect this decision and not to visit Germia Park for your safety", writes Ahmeti.
