In Kosovo, 77% of education workers have been vaccinated, it is not yet known if classes will start on September 13

The Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation of Kosovo has announced that most of the education workers have been vaccinated, while the rest are in the process of vaccination.

MESTI in an answer to Telegrafin that it has announced that so far about 77 percent of education workers have been vaccinated.

"As for vaccination, according to the data of the municipalities, most of the education workers have been vaccinated while the rest are in the process of vaccination. Until last week, the vaccination rate of education workers was around 77 percent", MESTI informs.

When asked if classes will start on September 13, MESTI did not give an answer, but said that all the necessary preparations have been made for the start of the new school year, however, based on the epidemiological situation, any decision will be made respecting the recommendations of health professionals.

MESTI also says that the Guide for learning during the pandemic has been revised, in which, in addition to the existing scenarios, the scenario for returning to schools has been added, where the details of how the learning process will be carried out depending on the situation with the pandemic have been provided.
