The former prime minister of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, has stated that even though he has not spoken to Rama for a long time, he still remains his brother, even though he admits that in some cases he may have exceeded communication.
On the other hand, Haradinaj denies that in the eyes of Merkel and Macron he said "I don't care about this", as Rama claimed days ago.
"No, no, such language is not practiced with those leaders. In mutual conversations with the prime minister or with someone, I may have exceeded some communication, I may have done it, because we are human, if we argue. But they were not part of the discussion with official meetings, official communications with official parties. I believe that I will show respect, I am not a disrespectful person in communication. Even if I use a language or an approach, I may have the right reasons, I do not do it by chance or coincidence, but if the circumstances arise for me, yes"- said Haradinaj.
He clarifies that the officials in Albania are not divided into PD, SP or LSI parties and that he always says in his statements "my brother Edi Rama" because he is an Albanian like any other Albanian even in agreement, error or different opinion.
"I have no communication, but I have many officials of Albania, SP, DP, LSI and I never divide people into parties. We are not connected by anything concrete, I am no longer in high positions. But even when I give a statement, I don't forget to say that "my brother Edi Rama", that I have a brother because he is Albanian, as if I have every Albanian as a brother, even when we disagree, even when we think differently, even when we are wrong. The prime minister of Albania is my brother. It will be. But even with my brother there are times when you disagree.
But neither Kosovo, nor Albania wins, neither in our political interests, nor in geo-strategy, it does not become more dear to either Merkel or Macron by throwing stones at one in the region, it is not like that. We should not rejoice in each other's misfortune. If Albanians enjoy each other's misfortune, it is painful logic" he said.
