
A 92-year-old Japanese grandmother showed off her skills in the popular video game Tekken 8 and was declared the winner of an e-sports tournament.
The eSports Care Association, an organization specializing in video game tournaments for the elderly, announced that its 12th tournament has ended, with Hisako Sakai, 92, taking first place.
The tournament featured eight seniors, aged 73 to 95, who faced off in one-on-one Tekken 8 matches held virtually.
Sakai defeated 74-year-old Goro Sugiyama in the final to take first place in the tournament, which was broadcast live on the Care eSports YouTube channel. /Telegraph/
