Alvaro Morata was in for an unpleasant surprise when he returned home from Barcelona last night, after the striker's wife left him out.
The Whites were beaten 3-0 by Barcelona in the Gamper Trophy match in the pre-season.
Morata has shown in his Instagram story through a video that after returning to Turin with the team he went home at four in the morning but its doors were closed. As a precaution, the elevators are also locked at that time so the attacker booked the hotel at 4am to take a nap.
His wife, Alice Campello, assured him that she did not do it on purpose and that she had simply slept and forgotten to unlock the security system for him to enter when he returned.
