The US suspects that 100 of the Afghans evacuated from Kabul have ties to the Taliban or terrorist groups. According to American media, two of the suspected Afghans will be returned to Kosovo for verification.
Likewise, any other suspected Afghan will be returned to Kosovo to follow the same procedure.
There is already a need for additional checks on the ranks of Afghans because the US claims that 10 of them have not been checked sufficiently.
From the beginning of the evacuation process at the Kabul airport, there was a fear that the Taliban or ISIS could profit by introducing infiltrators who could then carry out terrorist acts in Western countries. Now the US is taking measures to 'flirt' every evacuee.
In Kosovo, the evacuated Afghans have taken shelter in the American military base under the command of KFOR, which provides high security.
