The Democratic League of Kosovo's candidate for prime minister, Lumir Abdixhiku, has launched today from Klina the presentation of the LDK candidates and program, using the opportunity to harshly criticize the Government and present his vision for change.
Abdixhiku welcomed the Supreme Court's decision, which declared illegal the articles that required pensioners to prove every six months that they are alive.
According to him, this decision put an end to a humiliating practice against the citizens who, as he said, built this country.
"This is not a reform of the state; this is a humiliation of the citizens who built this country," Abdixhiku declared.
He also expressed great concern about what he called serious government corruption, saying that today it is taking place through WhatsApp groups.
"Corruption has eroded Kosovo's wealth from within. Hiding behind populism and false patriotism, they have stolen on WhatsApp, awarded tenders on WhatsApp and seized public enterprises on WhatsApp," the LDK candidate for prime minister emphasized.
Abdixhiku has declared that the time is coming for a responsible, clean and courageous government for major development decisions, saying that in Klina, the LDK has the right people for this change.
In this context, he also introduced the LDK candidates from Klina, describing them as representatives of knowledge and integrity: Shqipe Pantina, Master of Political Science, number 45 on the list, and Astrit Desku, Doctor of Science in the field of Information Technology and Innovation, number 54.
"Our team is our difference," concluded Abdixhiku.
