Peja is shaken. Two people have been killed and another injured by gunfire. The incident occurred at around 20:20, near the "Ali Hadri" School of Economics.
The Telegraph learns that one of the victims is Astrit Ademaj, the candidate for mayor of Peja from the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), as well as this party's official, Blerand Kadriaj, a former candidate for mayor in Deçan.
The Serious Crimes Department Prosecutor's Office is at the scene and is handling the case. The identity of the injured person and the circumstances of the incident are not known. The serious incident comes just before the elections to be held in Kosovo on October 17.
