
The Ministry of Health of Kosovo announced on Tuesday that the eKosova platform, where appointments can be made for vaccination against the coronavirus, now enables one person to schedule appointments for ten other people. The ministry also said that it has added new dates for vaccination, but did not provide more details.
Kosovo started vaccination against the coronavirus at the end of March. The Ministry of Health told Radio Free Europe that by September 6, 17 percent of the general population had been fully vaccinated. 35 percent of citizens received the first dose.
Kosovo, in recent weeks, is facing a serious wave of infections. In the last seven days, 181 victims of the coronavirus and 8,901 new cases have been confirmed. The Ministry of Health called on citizens to implement the measures against the coronavirus, including: wearing a mask, hygiene and maintaining distance.
