The United Nations has continued talks on drafting an international plan aimed at protecting nature and living things for the next decade. The preliminary draft aims to conserve at least 30% of the world's land and ocean surface.

In addition to this main objective, it defines the reduction to 50% of the introduction of invasive alien beings to eliminate or reduce their impact, the reduction of pesticides by at least two-thirds of them, the elimination of plastic waste and the increase of the conservation fund of nature with at least 200 billion dollars per year.

The meeting that drafted the plan was scheduled for October 2020, but was postponed three times due to the pandemic. There will now be another virtual meeting in October and then a face-to-face meeting next April in China.tvklan.al
