A young bride has poisoned her 77-year-old millionaire husband, even though he had promised her that she was the last woman he would sleep with.
25-year-old Saki Sudo is accused of murdering her husband 'Don Juan', who was 55 years her senior, in the Japanese city of Tanabe three years ago.
Real estate and lending businessman Kosuke Nozaki had married his alleged killer in February 2018.
But he died a few months after the wedding, reports the Tokyo Reporter network.
Nozaki previously boasted that he had slept with 4,000 women, and in 2016 he wrote a book titled 'Don Juan of Wakayama'.
He writes: "The reason I make money is to come up with beautiful farms."
When he proposed to Sudo, he reportedly asked, "Do you want to be my last wife?"
Police believe Sudo killed her husband by poisoning.
She had found the elderly man dead on the sofa at their home in Tanabe in May 2018.
Police said earlier that Nozaki had traces of drugs on his body.
Sudo was recently arrested in Tokyo following a search of her home.
