Chinese authorities have denied allegations that they may have been involved in a major cyberattack against tech giant Microsoft.
A statement from China's embassy in Australia called the allegations "baseless and irresponsible" and added that "the Chinese government is a staunch defender of cyber security". Further the accusations are called harmful and not helping anyone.
By Although China has denied being behind the cyber attack, many countries including Great Britain, the US, Australia and New Zealand are convinced of the perpetrators of the attack.
So far, it is known that about 30 organizations around the world have been affected by the attack.
Even Microsoft itself blamed a Chinese cyber-espionage group for exploiting a vulnerability in Microsoft Exchange that allowed hackers to remotely access mailboxes.tvklan.al
