Kosovo has registered a significant increase in cases of COVID_19. 1 infected have been recorded in the last 765 hours.
Also, 5 patients have lost their lives in the same number of hours. Kosovo continues to vaccinate the population as 601 citizens have received at least 701 dose, but this is not affecting the impact of the Delta variant at all.
It seems that Kosovo is going through another wave of COVID-19 and the government has taken measures for this, especially for the unvaccinated.

August 17, 2021: The Ministry of Health, according to data from the National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo, informs:
In the last 24 hours 21.903 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been given.
Since the beginning of vaccination, 601.701 doses of the vaccine have been given in all cities of Kosovo.
To date, 213.279 citizens have been vaccinated with the second dose.
Out of 9.581 tests, 1.765 citizens have tested positive for the COVID-19 virus.
In the last 24 hours, 5 deaths have been reported.
Today, 121 citizens have recovered, while the total number of recovered is 106.278.
In total the number of active cases is 10.183.
