According to this Serbian newspaper, Kosovo has recently been mentioned in the presidential elections in France, but it is not the only country that has done this. Of course, when they have interests from the Serbian community.
These are some of the countries that have mentioned Kosovo because they do not want Kosovo's independence just to win the votes of the Serbian community.
Franca
French presidential candidate Marine Le Pen has declared that she will annul Kosovo's independence if she wins the elections.
Kosovo has also been mentioned by the other presidential candidate, Francois Fillon, who, while referring to Crimea as part of Russia, has also mentioned Kosovo.
Spain
The Spanish Ambassador to Belgrade, Miguel Fuertes, said in February that Spain has not recognized Kosovo and will continue this position in the future.
The same position was expressed last year by Spain's Foreign Minister, Jose Manuel Garcia Margallo. He also said that the country would not recognize Kosovo.
Austria
The leader of the Freedom Party of Austria, Heinz Christian Strache, emphasized that his party is against injustice and that for this reason it has raised its voice against the bombing of the former Yugoslavia by NATO and the unilateral declaration of independence of Kosovo.
Ukraine
Ukraine is also one of the countries that has not recognized Kosovo's independence and, according to the words of their politicians and diplomats, they never will.
Russia
Russia led by Vladimir Putin will not allow the formation of the Army of the fake state of Kosovo, said the Russian ambassador to Tirana, Alexander Karpushin.
He said that creating an army in Kosovo would be contrary to Resolution 1244.
