Ismail meets athletes: Our commitment is for development, to push Kosovo forward and to be together

The Vice President of the Democratic Party of Kosovo and candidate number 2 on the electoral list, Uran Ismaili, met with representatives of sports clubs and athletes, with whom he discussed the challenges and needs of sports in Kosovo.

During the meeting, Ismaili emphasized the role of athletes as representatives of the country in the international arena, appreciating their discipline, sacrifice and daily work, often in difficult conditions and neglected by the current government.

He underlined that institutional support and serious investments are necessary for the development of sports.

In this context, Ismaili presented the main points of the PDK program related to sports, including the construction of the National Olympic Stadium according to FIFA and UEFA standards, as well as the revival of existing sports facilities, including the Youth and Sports Palace in Pristina and sports halls in municipalities.

He emphasized that the approach of PDK and Bedri Hamza will be equal and that sports will be supported in every municipality, not just in large cities.

In a post on social media, Ismaili wrote that "Bedri Hamza has proven that he knows how to build, lead and bring concrete results in every commitment he has made to public service. It is time for development to be a priority, and for sport to move forward with investments in every municipality, with dignified sports infrastructure and with a National Olympic Stadium according to international standards."
