Instagram has launched a series of new options to combat abuse from disturbing and problematic accounts. One of the options allows users to automatically hide comments from anyone they don't follow.
"The purpose of 'Limits' is to stop the waves of abuse coming from accounts trying to take advantage of the momentum”, Instagram said.
"Limits" is similar to "Restrictions", but unlike it, it allows limiting interaction with groups. Users can choose to limit comments and messages. Restricted messages and comments will remain hidden until the user accepts them. In addition, the time period of restriction can also be selected.
Starting today, Limits is available globally. Also, users who continue with abusive comments will have their account deleted automatically. Very soon, Instagram will add the "Hidden Words" filter, of hidden words that users don't want to see, sentences or emojis./tvklan.al
