Inaugurated in New York 'Small Island', the splash park has cost 265 million dollars

An amusement park has been inaugurated in New York, which has cost 265 million dollars, and which was financed for the most part by Barry Diller and Diane von Furstenberg.

The park known as "Little Island" is located near 14th Street on the banks of the Hudson River. The park was designed by Thomas Heatherwick, who also designed the ship structure at Hudson Gardens.

The Diller-von Furstenberg Family Foundation, run by mogul Barry Diller, funded $235 million of the project, while the City of New York added $17 million and $4 million from others.

74-year-old Diane von Furstenberg told the "Wall Street Journal" that the realization of this park was a dream of Barry's.
