Kosovo Assembly Member from the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Daut Haradinaj, while speaking about the "KLA Epic" event, said that he does not believe that the Jashari Family has closed its doors these days to those who wanted to visit.
"I believe that even the Jashars have not closed the door, it is not in the tradition of Albanians to close the door," Haradinaj said on "Zone B".
"There are always misunderstandings, I believe that the Jashari family should be more careful, they cannot always mourn, the elections are free, those who have won the elections govern Kosovo," he added, reports Klan Kosova.
"Why someone opens and closes the door, I won't comment, but the truth is that the Albanian people have shown solidarity with this family," said Haradinaj.
"Over 11 million visitors have visited Prekaz, it is an event that is extremely respected," he further emphasized.
Haradinaj said that the "KLA Epic" is a special event for the entire Albanian nation.
"Usually Ramushi went, today we tried too, with all my colleagues I went to the cemetery, I think the Albanian people also showed solidarity with the loss of the Jashari family," said Haradinaj.
He says that the loss of the Jashari Family is an extremely great loss, but that they already have the epithet of liberators of freedom.
"Kosovo institutions must find another way to mark this date, we did not receive our freedom completely for free," he said.
