An enraged mother burned down her boyfriend's house, where she said he had gone to meet another woman.

Keirra Levitt, from Sunderland, was alone at the man's house when he left to buy more alcohol but suspected he had gone out to meet someone else. It was revealed in court that she set fire to his shoes on the porch, which resulted in a massive fire that left the house uninhabitable.

Prosecutor Vince Ward told the court: It's clear from the messages that she thought he was seeing another woman. She had written to her boyfriend: This is the last time you do this to me, look at your burning house.

A pizza delivery man noticed the fire coming from the apartment and notified the fire department. The man had left the house around 23:00 p.m. and was 45 minutes late, when he returned to find the house he rented engulfed in flames and firefighters trying to put out the flames.

Keirra Levitt was blinded by rage and whining that her "boyfriend with benefits" was cheating on her and didn't consider the consequences of the fire. She met her partner on Facebook and started a relationship as friends, but with different benefits.

She had her prison suspension lifted because of her disabled son, who had no one to care for him except Levi. She is now serving time outside of prison with house arrest, alcohol treatment and rehabilitation. /tvklan.al
