The Supreme Court decided on Monday to confiscate the assets of the former Prosecutor General, Adriatik Llalla, who was accused of hiding his assets.
Local media reports that administrator Erion Ricku was ordered by the Special Prosecutor's Office against Organized Crime and Corruption (SPAK) to manage his assets while they are confiscated.
SPAK had registered the property procedure against the assets owned by Adriatik Llalla. In the decision of the Special Court against Organized Crime and Corruption (GJKKO) dated November 23, 2020, it is stated that "the property subject to confiscation is owned by the citizen Adriatik Llalla, as a subject of the Preventive Law and there is concrete evidence that it is the property of unjustified, since the comparison of its value with the legally earned income, it turns out that this value does not significantly correspond to the level of income and profits made legally by the citizen Adriatik Llalla and his wife".
