After the first python was found on Friday in Cambridgeshire, England, another one was found near the same area today. Just like the first one, this python is also about 3 meters long.
The snake was discovered while crossing a quiet country lane. Animal rescue authorities were quite surprised by the incident and think the two pythons may have been abandoned.
"It can't be a coincidence, these poor animals were abandoned or escaped from the same place. The second snake was terribly cold and much thinner than the first python, which is going through a minor health problem. Both pythons are being treated at a care center and are being kept under heat lamps to maintain a healthy body temperature", said one of the inspectors of the team.
Authorities find it disturbing that someone could have kept them for so long and then decided to cruelly abandon them. Meanwhile, they have informed people to stay alert even though the snakes do not pose a danger, but if they see an exotic species to keep a safe distance./tvklan.al
