A village in Switzerland is struggling to find a teacher despite the generous offer of a free apartment and a car.
5 children between the ages of 10 and 8 are asking applicants to come forward, or they will face a long bus ride to another school.
The former teacher at the school in the village of Simplon, in the canton of Valais, is retiring after 39 years, Swiss media reports, albinfo.ch reports.
Mayor Sebastian Arnold says there have only been 7 applications - but none are properly qualified or can start quickly.
The parents have started a PR campaign in the hope that someone will be tempted to go to the village.
One mother says that if her children have to go to another school, they would get up too early and be home late – meaning they would struggle to do their homework.
