Blerat Ukaj, the Kosovo Albanian who returned two days ago from Afghanistan, told RTK about the situation there.
Since 2015, Blerat Ukaj worked with various projects in Afghanistan in the tax administration sector. After completing several projects, Ukaj returned once again to the capital of Afghanistan with a European Union project, going to work in Kabul during the period when the Taliban took power there.
"We got together and tried to find a solution, but apparently we were a little hopeless because the European Union, as it seems due to the circumstances, our communication was cut off and we were without support from our employer and we were without support. Minister Donika Gërvalla and the president's office contacted me directly", said Ukaj for RTK.
He said that the situation in Afghanistan is much more serious than it is presented in the media because of the limited access there.
