Facebook has said it helped 175 people leave Afghanistan after the Taliban took over the country. This is information presented by the social network giant to the "BBC".
Also, the company said that some of the staff members have headed to the Mexican capital. The Mexican government stated that there were activists and independent journalists on board along with their families, including 75 children.

International companies and organizations have continued their withdrawal from Afghanistan.
"In the process of helping Facebook employees and close partners to leave Afghanistan, we joined an effort to help a group of journalists and their families who were in grave danger. Thanks to the help of the Mexican government and the support of the United Arab Emirates that helped with the first flight, journalists have been welcomed in Mexico", said a Facebook spokesperson.
