The billionaire prefers to spend time doing design and engineering than managing boards
Billionaire Elon Musk has surprised everyone lately. He has expressed that he hates the fact of being the boss of Tesla.
According to the BBC, the billionaire founder of Tesla spoke at the first hearing of the case, in which he was accused of pressuring members of the company's board of directors to buy a solar panel company.
Musk said that "I really hate this (being the boss of Tesla). I'd rather spend time doing design and engineering."
After the plaintiffs' lawyer showed a video criticizing Musk's worldview regarding leadership, he emphasized that "I don't want to be the boss of anything."
Tesla's shareholders claim the company's resources were wasted buying solar company SolarCity, whose cash is about to run out.
Until the deal in question was made, Musk also had shares in Tesla, and 22 percent of the solar panel company founded by his cousins.
He said that he did not earn anything from the shares in question.
