Elon Musk: I don't want to be the boss of anything

Tesla doesn't have a press office because its CEO, Elon Musk, says he doesn't need one. Instead, similarly to Donald Trump, he uses Twitter to communicate with his followers.

Just yesterday, Elon Musk made successive statements on the social network related to the story that in 2016, when Tesla had financial problems, he contacted Tim Cook, the chief executive of Apple, in case they wanted to buy his company. As part of the deal, Elon Musk was supposed to become Apple's chief executive, but Tim showed him the place.

But here's how Elon Musk answered the question on Twitter from a "BBC" journalist.

"How untrue are these? Did any of these happen?", was the journalist's question.

Musk replied: “Cook and I have never written or spoken to each other. There was a point when I asked to meet with him to talk about whether Apple wanted to buy Tesla. There were no conditions to the purchase proposal. He refused to meet. At that time, Tesla was worth 6% of its value today."

But there was another post that revealed more, which said: “Elon Musk could be a very good CEO for Apple”, to which Elon replied “I don't want to be the boss of anything."

It is not the first time that Musk has expressed himself in such a way. Other times he has said that being the head of the most valuable company in the world is boring for him as he prefers to devote himself to engineering.tvklan.al
