The Kosovo Police, namely the Directorate for International Police Cooperation, in coordination and cooperation with other relevant units of the Kosovo Police and justice institutions, on 17.12.2025, extradited the Kosovo citizen from Switzerland to the Republic of Kosovo.
According to a media release, the suspect was arrested by Swiss authorities after he was wanted on an international arrest warrant issued by Kosovo justice institutions for the criminal offense of "Intimidation."
"The extradition was carried out thanks to the cooperation between the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo and those of Switzerland. After the extradition, the suspect was handed over to the relevant police units in the Prizren region for further legal procedures."
The Kosovo Police will continue to exchange information with local institutions, states and international organizations with the aim of preventing, investigating and detecting criminal activities related to the investigation of perpetrators of criminal offenses, as well as other activities in tracking, capturing and arresting criminal persons and groups operating inside and outside the country. /Telegrafi/
