Doctor Agreta Gecaj-Gashi confirmed the news for Telegraf. "She passed away in the COVID Intensive Care Unit. He was being treated for four days. Her father, based on the information we have, was hospitalized in Gjakova and died a few days earlier," she said.
The doctor emphasized that the 20-year-old woman from Gjakova has not been vaccinated. The announcement of the death of the 20-year-old was made known by her family through social networks, where they announced that her burial will take place today. The Delta variant of COVID-19 is mostly affecting young people. Calls for vaccination are constantly being made, while it is mostly being reported that the ages between 20 and 29 years old are being infected.
