A 2-year-old girl died after touching a phone charger that gave her a fatal electric shock.
Sara Alves de Albuquerque from the municipality of Erere, Brazil was killed after getting her hands on the device. She was rushed to a local hospital, but passed away despite doctors doing everything they could to keep her alive.
The police will now investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of the 2-year-old. Brazil recorded 355 electrocution deaths last year alone.

It has not yet been revealed what brand of phone the charge was for.
The two-year-old's death follows another serious incident where a teenager was killed after she suffered an electric shock in the bathroom while using her phone while charging. The victim, identified as Anna K, was found after a neighbor reported a water leak in his ceiling.
Doctors confirmed that the 15-year-old girl had died from an electric shock. /tvklan.al
